I’m Inbal Cabiri, a travel and food writer and photographer based near Barcelona since 2017. Usually chasing the sun, often planning my next trip around lunch.
I travel with my two sons and steal weekends away with my partner, friends or siblings. I love a city I can explore on foot as much as a few days in the mountains, and have a particular weakness for France.

A little about me
Before becoming a writer and photographer, I worked in criminal law and academic research. Moving to Spain in 2017 gave me a new setting for that curiosity.
I now write and photograph stories about food, travel and culture, from my base just outside Barcelona. I also write about what tourism means for the people who live in the places we visit, from the opportunities it creates to the pressures it brings.
The guides on this site grow out of those interests, alongside the practical questions readers ask when planning their own trips.
